Former President Donald Trump is allegedly being impeached for “incitement of insurrection” on Capitol Hill.
The Mostly Peaceful Protests™ Open Rebellion™ in question took place on January 6, 2021.
Unfortunately, since explicitly calling for a “peaceful” and “patriotic” demonstration isn’t incitement of anything unlawful no matter how much you really, really hate the Bad Orange Man™, the left has been forced to change its narrative.
Again.
Now, Trump is allegedly being impeached because of his nefarious six-year-long plan to mentally condition the American public to riot and revolt if he didn’t win reelection in 2020.
But even still, it’s not really what he said, it’s what he meant. Or something.
See, when you go all in on the idea of Orwellian doublespeak circa 1984, it really doesn’t matter what your opponent says because you can always just claim that the words used were stand-ins for their exact opposites.
You know, “dog whistles.”
Thus, Trump calling for a peaceful and patriotic protest was actually Trump calling for violent genocide worse than Rwanda and a Fourth Reich in America.
And that is an impeachable offense, boy howdy!
Yes, this is the literal Democrat argument.
Which is, of course, a conspiracy theory and forensic disaster even dumber and more farfetched than any of the stupid Fedgov Fanfic™ that QAnon puts out on the daily.

None of the above is why Trump is actually being impeached for a second time.

As you can see, the left’s authoritarian cancel culture is the real secret behind this power grab.
Ultimately, Democrats fear that if Trump is not convicted in the Senate – for something, anything – then he’ll be able to run for President again.
That’s the entire motive behind Impeachment 2.0.
But what is the left really so afraid of, and why?
After all, Joe Biden won the 2020 general election easily against incumbent Trump. He beat the most popular GOP candidate in history by a whopping seven million votes.
And he did it without even bothering to campaign!
Surely, the American people have spoken, and Trump has no chance of being elected President again, right?
The 2020 election was totally legitimate, so the left shouldn’t be so worried about Trump running again, right?
If an old segregationist with dementia can beat Trump, anyone can, right?
Alas, LOL. The schemes that worked for 2020 won’t work in 2024.

The real question is whether or not Trump himself even wants to run again.
